Customer vs General Contractor: Partnership or confrontation

On 27 April, Spectrum Group co-hosted with Vegas Lex and RBC “Customer vs General Contractor: Partnership or confrontation” business-lunch in Moscow.   

Experts discussed relevant issues encountered in the implementation of construction projects and the ways to address them in the current context. They spoke about how to define the optimum construction projects organizing scheme, reducing the risks of non-completion, increasing the chances of effective cooperation, and as a result, successful project implementation. They also thought how to choose the right algorithm of actions in the situation when difficulties had been already encountered. 

Dmitry Volkov, Deputy Minister of Construction, Housing and Public Utilities, attended the event. He described recent trends and initiatives of the Ministry.

Alexander Mutovkin, Spectrum Group Projects Director, reported on key features advantages and disadvantages existing construction organizing schemes. Dmitry Luchansky, Spectrum Group Head of Pricing, spoke about procurement, contract farming and cost management specifics. In addition, Sergei Frolov, Spectrum Group Managing Director, attended the final Q&A session.
