ARCHITECT VS. ENGINEER

What language did an engineer and an architect speak to each other? How did they find that golden mean? What could cause disputes, and how could they be resolved to achieve a result?
On 24 January two experts were at the MARSH School of Architecture to answer these questions, dispel professional myths, discuss the pressing issues and discover the formula for effective cooperation.

Our colleagues participated in the dialogue:
Vyacheslav Kochnov – Chief Architect of Spectrum. Had 18+ years of experience in developing landmark architectural facilities: multifunctional business centers, airports, five-star hotels and others. Some of the implemented facilities had been shortlisted for / had won Russian and international architectural awards.
Sergey Terentiev – Chief Engineer of Spectrum. Had 20 years of experience, had worked all the way up from an assembler in the assembly plant to the chief engineer of the Company. His specialization covered industrial, public and infrastructure facilities, functions: General Design and Technical Client.

The discussion was moderated by: Nikita Tokarev – Architect, Dean of MARSH.
