A historic event for Spectrum Group
What an impressive ending of this difficult but exciting year!
Spectrum Group is the General contractor of Vladikavkaz international airport new terminal construction! The agreement was signed with Vladikavkaz International Airport JSC on 22 December.
This is a historic event for Spectrum – it will be first time for company to serve as a General contractor. We are excited to get started, using all our extensive experience in design, engineering and construction of airport infrastructure (over 40 projects throughout the Russia and abroad!). It is important to note that Spectrum Group is also serving as General designer in this project, and our colleagues from Dialectica (by Spectrum) created architectural concept of the new terminal.
“Ever since they announced that we won, of course, we started all the preparation. Worked out our first steps with the local suppliers and contractors, a series of organizational activities of documents preparation for beginning of the construction with technical customer. Now we have a head start, so we can begin quickly”, - commented Alexandr Mutovkin, Spectrum Group’s project manager, for Russia 1 TV Channel.
Area of two-story building of Vladikavkaz airport new terminal will be more than 5,000 sq.m. New terminal will allow to increase the passengers capacity to 1 million per year. Completion of the construction is scheduled for May 2022.
