The construction of Novy Uringoy airport new passenger terminal officially started!
On 22 December, a formal ceremony of the large-scale construction works beginning was held with participation of Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Region Governor Dmitriy Artyukhov and Airport of Regions managing company’s CEO Evgeny Chudnovsky.
Our colleagues also attended the event. Let us recall that Spectrum involved in the major project of Novy Uringoi airport reconstruction, serving as Technical customer, Technical Expert under the Concession agreement, and making Construction management and Construction supervision.
Traffic capacity of the Yamal biggest air hub new terminal (18 000 sq.m.) will be 840 passengers per hour or 1.45 million passengers per year. Its unique feature will be warm buss gate, which is very relevant with the severe weather conditions at the Far North.
The project of Novy Urengoy airport large-scale reconstruction is implementing by Airports of Regions managing company within the framework of Concession agreement concluded with the government of Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Region in March 2018. Completion of the project is scheduled for 4th quarter of 2022.
