SPECTRUM AT THE CONFERENCE ‘NEW WAVE DEVELOPMENT 2020: CLASSICS OR AVANT-GARDE?’

THE PARTICIPANTS IN THE ANNUAL CONFERENCE HELD BY KOMMERSANT PUBLISHING HOUSE IDENTIFIED THE MAIN TRENDS ON THE COMMERCIAL REAL ESTATE MARKET.

Speaking at the event, Vladimir Ivanov, managing partner at Spectrum Group, told of what investors want today based on the projects we are participating in.

He highlighted, in particular, that one of the most noticeable trends today is an increase in construction of headquarters for major companies. This is confirmed by information on requests that Spectrum has received. For example, in 2019, corporate headquarters accounted for 15% of all requests we received in the CRE sector. This is twice as much as the year before.

Major companies make the decision to build headquarters because they begin to treat the office as part of their brand - part of their identity. Standard office buildings are being replaced by new construction projects with unique architecture, thought out comfortable public spaces, and the most important infrastructure.

The trend toward redevelopment of CHS was also highlighted among other current trends.
